This place was a great fit for our family. Our room (the family suite) was perfect for us and our two children (ages 5 and 6). They loved sleeping and playing in the loft, and the room was spacious for us. The views of the ocean and mountains were lovely every morning and evening. No complaints about the jacuzzi tub either! On top of this, the property owner was top tier. He had a great orientation to the area for us, including a map and suggestions for using transportation. He never hesitated to help us get a taxi (we had some trouble with Uber in Sokcho). And on our day of departure, it was pouring rain so he drove our whole family to the Bus Station. He was warm, knowledgeable, and very kind to our children. He even left us a little gift at the end of our stay. This B&B was so far above expectations that I would change vacation plans in order to stay here again.

Casa Seorak B&B is a very comfortable place with a lot of space and the furniture is in the traditional Korean style which adds to the cozy and pleasant atmosphere. Our hosts were very gracious, gave us a lot of information about the surroundings and interesting sites to visit. The breakfast was prepared to our preferences and tasted very good. Sokcho is lively, the beaches beautiful and the Seorak National Park is worth every visit! I will come again and can recommend Casa Seorak to everyone!

It was a smaller family hotel with several apartments / rooms, directly on a road between Sokcho town and Seorak NP. For tourists like us, who came mainly for the Seorak NP, it has a perfect location about 15-20 minutes by car to the main parking place / entry gate of the NP park. The centre of Sokcho town was also about 15-20 minites by car. The owner is a very nice and helpful, he explained us everything during our check in and also during our the whole stay - told us information, answers, showed everything on a map, recommended restaurants etc. We had the stay with breakfasts and the owner prepared them and served them to our room in the mornings. Everything important there was about 20 minutes far from the house.

First and foremost, the host has to be one of the friendliest people in Korea. That is saying something, as the country is full of nice, polite and helpful people. He gave us a lot of information about Seoraksan and the different hikes there, and Sokcho as well. We arrived late, but he was very flexible and understanding. The breakfast was great, with bread, fruit, yoghurt and eggs (whichever way you prefer them). We even got an upgrade for our room, free of charge. Due to this we had a jacuzzi, which the kids really loved. Other than that the room had good facilities and the beds were comfy. Also, the location is super, close to Sokcho but in a small town, very quiet, along the main road between the city and the National Park.

Great location, on a quiet street, no street noise whatsoever. Short drive to both Sokcho town and Seoraksan national park. Plenty of parking space available. Room is comfortable, good bedding, wifi provided. Mosquito nets on all the windows and doors make it very convenient. Breakfast provided in the room, you won’t go hungry! Coffee and tea available throughout the day. Big thank you for the host! He provided all the information that we needed and even more, all our questions were answered and issues resolved. Just speaks good English (not that it is a must but makes communication easier). Thank you so much!

Location was a short 15min drive to the Seoraksan National Park, very convenient if you are driving. Apart from the food recommendations by the host, there is also a nice bakery cafe Seoraksanro nearby. The room was big enough to accommodate 2 adults and 5 kids (ages 2, 6, 9). Host also provided a high chair for my baby. The family suite had a 2nd floor but we didn't use it, mainly to protect the kids. The jacuzzi worked well and was a treat after a long day out. Host was very kind and helpful, made us feel very comfortable. My kids looked forward to his simple yet wonderfully prepared breakfast everyday.

We thank the hosts for their incredible amicability and friendliness! We were warmly welcomed as soon as arrived and were recommended/shown cultural places to go to, trails in Seoraksan to hike and a few restaurant addresses (which were all very good!) The room was very spacious, pretty and cosy. The breakfast brought to our room every morning was very nice as well. Their is a bus station very near to go to Seoraksan (around 15 minutes) The neighbourhood is very calm, outside of the bustling cities, which was really appreciated after being for weeks in big cities. Going to Sokcho from the house is easy; by bus, taxi or simply by walking. I really recommended this place to anyone wanting to stay in Sokcho!

I really enjoyed my stay there so much, it was the most spacious and nice place I had during my 4 weeks of travelling in South Korea. The owners are just sweethearts and so helpful. Closeby you‘ll find a couple of good restaurants in walking distance and the bus stop to Mt Seoraksan. Casa Seorak is an excellent choice between sea and mountains as the weather can be a little bit unstable as you have so many options for food.

This is my second time staying at Casa Seorak and loved it again. The host is supernice, eh gave us a lot of recommendations on the trekking routes for Mount Seorak and also to visit the city of Sokcho and restaurants. The room had plenty of space, and a little kitchen. The place is peaceful and quiet to get a good rest and close enough to the National Park so you can get there soon if you're going hikking. All after having the delicious breakfast the host prepared for us.
