Location was a short 15min drive to the Seoraksan National Park, very convenient if you are driving. Apart from the food recommendations by the host, there is also a nice bakery cafe Seoraksanro nearby. The room was big enough to accommodate 2 adults and 5 kids (ages 2, 6, 9). Host also provided a high chair for my baby. The family suite had a 2nd floor but we didn't use it, mainly to protect the kids. The jacuzzi worked well and was a treat after a long day out. Host was very kind and helpful, made us feel very comfortable. My kids looked forward to his simple yet wonderfully prepared breakfast everyday.

We thank the hosts for their incredible amicability and friendliness! We were warmly welcomed as soon as arrived and were recommended/shown cultural places to go to, trails in Seoraksan to hike and a few restaurant addresses (which were all very good!) The room was very spacious, pretty and cosy. The breakfast brought to our room every morning was very nice as well. Their is a bus station very near to go to Seoraksan (around 15 minutes) The neighbourhood is very calm, outside of the bustling cities, which was really appreciated after being for weeks in big cities. Going to Sokcho from the house is easy; by bus, taxi or simply by walking. I really recommended this place to anyone wanting to stay in Sokcho!

Nearby Casa Seorak are: Hadomun Jeong Art Hadomun sokcho cafe Sokcho Gimgeungsu house (over 100 year old heritage site) Memorial tower for soldiers who fought in the korean war Pros: Reception free beverage: tea and coffee. Microwave to heat up food Room has kitchen and fridge. Underfloor heating; aircon; we had a room on the first floor with balcony; Bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, soap; kitchen had coffee. We went to 3 restaurants recommended by owner (Matsu; 88 Grilled fish; seorak sanro hanwoo) they were all good. Bus no 7 or 7-1 took us to the beach, then we walked to Abai village and the fish market. Juha was very hospitable and helped with all our questions. The breakfast was so good and beautifully presented

Quirky colourful rooms. Juha the owner is very friendly and helpful. His dining recommendations were spot on. An excellent breakfast is delivered to your room every morning at your designated time. The guesthouse is ideally situated on the road to Seoraksan NP between the park and Sokcho centre. Frequent (though slightly unreliable) buses make getting around very easy.

A perfect place to visit the national Seorak national park. A bus stops very closy by that takes you right into the park. The rooms are clean and spacious and are decorated in a fun and eclectic manner. The host speaks great English and is super helpful with tips on what to do and how to get there. Great breakfast which is a great basis to go hiking. There are a number of good eating options walking distance - just ask the host. Perfect for having a relaxed dinner after a long day of climbing stairs and mountains. The B&B is located just outside of Sokcho, but the city itself is just a busride away. Our room had a nice little patio with a beautiful view of the mountains.

We had an excellent stay at Casa Seorak B&B despite the torrential rain we experienced the day we arrived as well as the day after. Thankfully, we stayed 3 nights and were able to hike and explore Seoraksan National Park as we wished. Our host was amazing and helped us (on a map he provided) with food/restaurant suggestions, showed us the different hiking routes at the Park and other noteworthy sites in the vicinity. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to S. Korea and I can't recommend it enough!

The owner is super friendly and helpful. Very homely, comfortable and full of character. Nice furnishings, ornaments and front balcony give it a relaxing vibe. Lovely breakfast with option to eat in your room, or in dining area. The coffee beans and grinder in the room added a nice touch. The beans are roasted by the owner, and the coffee is nice! The owner gave us great recommendations for eating and local attractions. Really enjoyed our stay!

Our host was so welcoming and attentive to making our stay memorable, and it was a pleasure to stay in his Korean house (rather than a big hotel). The breakfast was adequate and we enjoyed the jacuzzi in our room! It was easy to catch the bus from near the house up to the Seoraksan Park and in the evening we got a taxi into Sokcho which wasn’t expensive. Take up his recommendations - the grilled fish restaurant in Sokcho was fantastic and a real experience.

It's quiet and peaceful, just the holiday we wanted. Room was clean and spacious, even has our own pantry. Breakfast was served in the room as well. We've our own balcony overseeing the mountains which was great to have our afternoon tea. Our host even briefed us on the places to explore and food recommendations. Which turned out really great - the Korean grill nearby is a must try!

It is a very nice place with a very helpful host, Mr Juah. On arrival he gave us a 10 minute overview of all recommended places to go and was always available for help. He booked our bus tickets to the next place using his credit card (we couldd not do this with foreign cards) and on the morning of departure he drove us to the bus station with his car. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with fun design. And obviously the nearby park and walks are amazing! one of our South Korea highlights.
